The police privilege the thesis of the murder to explain the atrocious death of the young girl.
A drama of nameless horror comes to darken the beginning of the year 2021, when a girl of only 7 years who would have been martyred and who would have been inflicted a great deal of bodily harm was found dead Sunday afternoon, downstream.
The child’s inanimate body was discovered around 2:30 p.m. in a residence on rue Le Boutillier, in the Chomedey district.
The girl was rushed to hospital, but doctors were unable to bring her back to life.

According to our information, the girl’s body had several burn marks on 80% of her body, as well as injuries from other types of abuse.
No arrests have yet been made in this sad case. Also according to our information, seven people were to be met by the police regarding this murder.
However, since these witnesses are believed to be from India or Sri Lanka and none of them speak French, the authorities were still waiting for an interpreter late Sunday evening in order to question them properly.
This would be the first murder to be committed in Laval since the beginning of the year.
Police said the autopsy results should shed light on the exact cause of the girl’s death.
“At the time of the call, the other children of the family were not present at the scene. The DPJ was made aware […]. We will have to see with them what will happen over the next few days in terms of the intervention, “said Sergeant Geneviève Major, spokesperson for the Laval police, during a press briefing.
“We are waiting for the causes and circumstances of death. We need to meet with the [family] members who were there to get as much information as possible so that we can find out what happened, “she added.
This revolting story is reminiscent of that of Granby’s “child martyr“, whose repeated mistreatment of him ultimately led to his death in April 2019.
The girl, also 7 years old, had been neglected, malnourished and beaten repeatedly. She was found tied up in the family residence, before giving up soul a few hours later.
