Fawad Chaudhry reaction to Tik Tok

ISLAMABAD: The Peshawar High Court ( PHC ) has ordered the lifting of the ban on video app Tik Tak, to which Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry has also reacted. The court directed Pakistan Telecommunication to take steps to remove pornographic material. During the hearing, the Chief Justice said that there should be a system to differentiate between good and bad.

It may be recalled that on March 11, 2021, the Peshawar High Court had banned the Tik Tok app. The petition filed against Tik Tak was heard in the Peshawar High Court. DGPTA, Deputy Attorney General, petitioner’s lawyer Nazish Muzaffar and Sara Ali appeared in the court.

Chief Justice Peshawar High Court Qaiser Rasheed Khan said that the kind of videos uploaded on Tik Tak is not acceptable for our society, Tik Tak videos are spreading pornography in society and it should be stopped immediately. ۔ Hearing the Chief Justice Qaiser Rasheed Khan, DG PTA the app to stop Tick tock applications that query the damage would be? He said yes the damage will be, we have officials of Tick Tok who Have been asked to control immoral content but has not received a positive response.
