WATCH THE FIRST 7 MINUTES OF THE MORTAL KOMBAT MOVIE HERE

Mortal Kombat live-action film deals with a tournament between Outworld and Earthrealm, where the losing side will disappear from existence. Cole Young, an ex-MMA fighter, becomes the target of Shang Tsung, an Outworlder who wants to eliminate Earth’s mightiest fighters. Determined to save their realm, Cole looks for other fighters to take them to the Mortal Kombat. Iconic fighters from the series like Sonya Blade, Sub-Zero, Raiden, and Scorpion all appear in the film.
In the seven-minute clip, the film takes us back to 1700s Japan. We see Hanzo Hasashi with his family, living a peaceful life with his wife and two children. Then, the carnage starts within just the first two minutes of the film. That’s a great sign for those looking for a justified R-Rating experience out of this game. We also get to sample the fighting sequences and choreography, which are, in fact, very impressive. There’s enough gore and violence to go around, which may exactly be what many fans are looking for. Not exactly what we know Mortal Kombat for, but we also get some heart-rending scenes from this opening sequence. Without saying anything more, Hanzo Hasashi doesn’t exactly leave the intro happy with how this whole film started out.
