Before, there was Atari. Then it was Sega and Nintendo. Sony entered with their PlayStation. At last, at the turn of the century, Microsoft entered the fray, introducing the world to Halo and the Xbox console.

It’s been almost two decades since the release of Microsoft’s Xbox. In 2001, the console came out in the market, and it quickly became the third party in console gaming’s Big Three. Four console generations later and the Xbox brand still stands strong.
In celebration of both Xbox’s and Halo‘s 20-year anniversary, Microsoft will be conducting a six-month experience for gamers. The celebrations will last until November 15, 2021.
