De’Aaron Fox came up with another incredible performance on Sunday night to help the Sacramento Kings defeat Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks. Fox was huge and notched a team-high of 30 points, marking his 17th 30-point game this season.

Fox put the Mavericks away in the fourth quarter and absolutely dominated. He dropped 12 points in the last 12 minutes of play and according to StatMuse, the 23-year-old speedster leads the entire NBA in fourth quarter scoring this season.

Fox’s big night also came at the perfect time as his 30-point explosion helped the Kings snap their miserable nine-game losing skid which they’ve been burdened with for the past few weeks. The fifth overall pick of the 2017 NBA draft also dished out 12 assists to help keep the Kings’ flatlining play-in tournament hopes alive.

Though they have put up another disappointing campaign this season, Fox has been leaving his heart on the floor every single night. He’s only missed one game all season and has been averaging career-highs of 25.2 points per game on 19 field goal attempts and 35.1 minutes.

With less than four seasons in the NBA under his belt, the former Kentucky standout is developing into one of the most clutch bucket-getters in the league. His speed, athleticism, and ability to create his own shots make him a dependable guy in crunch time.

With a young core behind him, it should only be a matter of time until we include the feisty De’Aaron Fox in conversations as one of the NBA’s best point guards.

Does anyone know why we’re all still sleeping on Mr. Fox?
