Well, the Jets\u2019 soon-to-be rookie obviously made various appearances on radio shows and such over the last few days, with the latest coming in an interview with WFAN Radio Host Craig Carton. Take a look at what he said to the QB, per TMZ:<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u201cYour mom has become the lead story, and I say that respectfully because people are like, \u2018the star of the first round of the draft is Mrs. Wilson because she\u2019s a very attractive woman.\u2019\u201dHe went on \u2026 \u201cAnd, I\u2019m just wondering how awkward that is for you, that you just got picked second overall in the NFL draft, and the focus is, wow, his mom is really hot.\u201d<br \/>\nUndoubtedly, that would be a very awkward question to answer, but Wilson responded in the most professional way possible:<br \/>\n\u201cYeah, it\u2019s not my favorite for sure. I like to keep her out of the spotlight. She\u2019s an awesome lady and I love having her support.\u201d<br \/>\nCarton eventually received quite a bit of hate for his comments from Jets fans and just people on social media alike, but he backed up his questions with this:<\/p>\n<p>Appreciate how sensitive u r but b sure 2 listen 2 what I said versus what u assume I said. I asked him how awkward it was that the Post wrote story about his moms looks, also the #1 trending topic online all day.
