Manchester United fans protested outside Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon (Picture: Getty Images)Roy Keane warned Manchester United owners, the Glazer family, that Sunday\u2019s protests are \u2018just the start\u2019 in a warning of things to come.
\nHundreds of fans descended on Old Trafford on Sunday ahead of the scheduled Premier League clash with Liverpool, demonstrating both outside and inside thed ground as some made it onto the pitch and even into the dressing rooms.
\nAnother group of protestors made their presence felt at the Lowry Hotel where the players were staying.
\nThe fans were protesting against the Glazers\u2019 ownership of the club, which has long been a problem among supporters, but sparked into life now due to the owners\u2019 involvement in the failed European Super League project.
\nFormer Red Devils captain Keane has called on the owners to take notice of the fans\u2019 anger and warned them that there is more disruption to come, after the clash with Liverpool had to be postponed after the demonstrations.
\n\u2018This will go out all over the world and hopefully the owners of Manchester United will sit up and take note,\u2019 Keane told Sky Sports.

\u2018These fans are deadly serious and this is just the start of it from United fans \u2013 I can guarantee you.\u2019
\nGary Neville hopes that we will not see further protests as he wants the Glazers to understand the situation and move on, selling the club to a new owner.
\n\u2018The Glazer family have been resilient and stubborn for many years,\u2019 said Neville. \u2018I think they\u2019re struggling for many, many years to meet the financial demands this club needs and have done for some time.<\/p>\n

\n\u2018They haven\u2019t got to a Champions League semi-final for 10 years and haven\u2019t won the league for eight. The land around the ground is undeveloped, dormant and derelict when every other club seems to be developing their facilities and their fan experiences.
\n\u2018The Glazer family are struggling to meet the financial requirements and the fans are saying the time is up.
\n\u201cThey\u2019re going to make a fortune if they sell this football club. If they were to put it up for sale now I think the time would be right and it\u2019d be the honourable thing to do.\u2019<\/p>\n
