\nAccording to Michael Scotto of the HoopsHype podcast, the Warriors are very much open to the prospect of extending Oubre\u2019s deal with the team. However, the 6-foot-7 small forward might have just priced himself out of the market with his $20 million-per-season self-valuation.
\nOubre arrived in Golden State in the offseason via a trade deal with the Oklahoma City Thunder, who in turn, acquired him from the Phoenix Suns as part of the Chris Paul deal. In 55 games played this season, Oubre put up averages of 15.4 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.0 steals, while also connecting on 1.6 triples per game.
\nOubre established himself as a key piece for the Warriors this term, but with Klay Thompson returning next season, the former could prove to be dispensable for the Dubs \u2014 especially if he stands firm on his contract demands.
