\nThe acclaimed comedian reveals she got a mix of nice and unpleasant messages but wasn\u2019t going to sit back and watch the sexist narrative continue.
\nAddressing the situation on an Instagram Stories, Katherine told her followers: \u2018I\u2019m just gonna let that sexism wash over me. I\u2019m not gonna let it affect my zen. No, I\u2019m not cancelling my tour.
\n\u2018I\u2019ve received a lot of really touching nice messages and a lot of rude messages and a lot of messages \u2013 A LOT of messages \u2013 asking if I\u2019m gonna cancel my tour. No I\u2019m not cancelling my tour.\u2019
\nShe added in her witty way: \u2018Your dad is cancelling his tour.\u2019
\nKatherine is expecting her second child after reuniting with her sweetheart Bobby after 20 years apart.
\nShe told MailOnline: \u2018I loved him so much \u2013 I still have all of our letters that we wrote to each other when we were 15\/16 and I had them made into a blanket for our one-year anniversary because I\u2019m such a nerd.\u00a0
\n\u2018But then I was glad that we weren\u2019t together for 20 years as well because I went off and I did all of these interesting things and he went off and did all these interesting things.\u00a0
\n\u2018I don\u2019t think most men are really ready to be married until they\u2019ve been divorced.\u00a0I never really wanted to get married, it\u2019s when I became totally satisfied with the idea of being alone that he magically walked into my life.
\n\u2018I did everything I could not to marry him. I thought, this is not my plan but when it\u2019s meant to be it\u2019s just so easy and I wish I had known that all along.\u2019
