Zayn Malik rowed with a passer-by (Picture: Getty)Zayn Malik has been seen in a heated confrontation with a passer-by outside a New York City bar.
\nThe Pillowtalk hitmaker was pictured shirtless as he rowed with a man, with TMZ reporting that the passer-by picked a fight with the former One Direction star.
\nSources told the publication that Zayn was smoking a cigarette outside Amsterdam Billiards Club in the East Village when a man attempted to pick a fight with him.
\nHe is also thought to have lunged at Zayn and called him a homophobic slur.
\nWhile strong words were exchanged, no punches were thrown and the police were not involved.
\nZayn has not publicly commented on the incident.
\nThe singer became a father last year, welcoming a baby daughter with his girlfriend Gigi Hadid.
\nIn January,\u00a0they revealed her name, with the model simply penning in her Instagram bio: \u2018Khai\u2019s mum.\u2019<\/p>\n

\nZayn, who is normally reticent about sharing his private life, described model Gigi, 25, as \u2018a wicked mum\u2019.
\nThey live at a hideaway in rural Pennsylvania but the Zayn, who used to be engaged to Perrie Edwards, said: \u2018I haven\u2019t really thought about settling down per se yet.

\u2018We\u2019re both quite young, even though we\u2019ve had a kid.
\n\u2018We\u2019re still thinking about work and things we want to do career-wise\u2026 but maybe in the far future, when we eventually pick a place to settle down, it will probably be something kind of similar to this.\u2019
