The Brighton & Hove Albion winger’s former flame – whom he dated for two years before their split back in March – is said to be set for the ITV2 dating show after being made redundant from her job.
According to The Sun, the 21-year-old beauty wants to head into the famous villa to promote her Luxe Range boutique.
Apparently, the move comes after she and Aaron, also 21, have grown closer again in recent weeks.
‘They’ve seen each other, been at each other’s houses and had dinner, but over the last couple of days she has told a few people she’s going to be on Love Island and now Aaron knows and isn’t very happy,’ an insider said.
‘She’s going in to plug her business. She wants fame and money – she’s always wanted to be a celebrity.
‘She’s trying to become an influencer, she wants to do it for her business.’
The report adds that Aaron isn’t best pleased about this development, which comes after he’d been ‘seeing other people’ following their breakup.
The source added: ‘He was seeing other people and she was jealous, but over the past few months they’ve been seeing each other, going for dinner and reconciling and now he’s found out about Love Island he’s very upset.
‘In the last few weeks they’ve been in each other’s pockets, but the TV show will change all that.’

It’s said Lucinda has been approached for the show in the past, but she wasn’t able to do it because she was with British Airways at the time.
‘She’s had a really lengthy psych evaluation so it looks like she’s going in,’ the source said.
In March, Aaron was sanctioned by his club after breaching coronavirus restrictions for reportedly inviting a woman into a house where he was staying.
‘It’s something we have dealt with internally, the club is dealing with it,” Brighton manager Graham Potter said at the time.

‘Aaron’s made a mistake, we’ve dealt with that and we have to move on. He’s a human being. These things happen. Clearly it’s not something we’re happy about, but it’s been dealt with.’
Meanwhile, Love Island bosses previously confirmed the location for the 2021 series, revealing that it will be going ahead in Majorca.
ITV commissioner Amanda Stavri also addressed the call for the show to include LGBT+ contestants, saying that the inclusion of gay contestants would present a ‘logistical difficulty’.
A representative for ITV didn’t comment when approached by Metro.co.uk.
Love Island is set to launch this June on ITV.
