(Picture: Endemol Shine)Nikau (Kawakawa Fox-Reo) heads to a meeting with the modelling agent in Salt, prepared to tell her thanks, but no thanks. At the bar, Sienna Blake (Rose Riley) meets him and turns on the charm offensive. Nikau is blindsided a second time when Ari (Rob Kipa-Williams) shows up, announcing himself as Nikau’s uncle and asking Sienna straight – what’s her deal?
Sienna reveals she wants to sign Nikau immediately, offering a lot of money and a bonus he finds hard to resist – an internship for Bella (Courtney Miller) with a top photographer in the city. Later, when Nikau shares the update with Bella, she is blown away by how talented and high profile the photographer is and looks wistfully at his website on her phone.
Later on, Nikau reveals to Ari and Mia that he’s going to take the job, but they aren’t convinced he’s taking the job for himself. Nonetheless, a few days later Bella and Nikau are in the big city and walking into the glamorous modelling agency. Sienna makes it clear she isn’t impressed by Bella showing up, but whisks Nikau straight off for a test shoot.
Bella takes the opportunity to wander around the agency, and walks into a shoot. The photographer is annoyed with her until he realises who she is, and she quickly impresses him with her knowledge. Then Sienna announces it’s time to shoot, and Nikau is in the spotlight.

When the shoot begins, Nikau realises he’s way out of his depth and can’t get the right poses for a decent headshot. The photographer struggles to get any photos that work and Sienna is quickly growing impatient. Their encouragement falls on deaf ears as Nikau suddenly gives up and storms out of the shoot, leaving everyone stunned…
