The star wrote a touching, bittersweet letter in which she got candid about her grieving process, no less than seven months after the passing of her daughter. Perri posted a pic of herself relaxing by the ocean and alongside it, she wrote the inspirational message she had for her fans. ‘When we lost our daughter back in November I thought I’d never be OK again. I thought that I would never laugh or play ever again, dance again or love again… and for many months I did not. But then I began trying to heal and to learn how to live with my pain and grief right alongside the love and joy. How to find the tiniest purpose in our tragedy and find something to learn and grow from and grow towards,’ she wrote. It’s a doozy. I kept telling myself that it would all be better by the summer. it’d all be better by ocean city. I thought that if we could make it to ocean city we’d be OK. And it was true. We made it here and we’re OK,’ she concluded her touching letter. This update comes after, back in November, the singer revealed that her daughter was ‘born silent’ right after Christina was hospitalized over some pregnancy complications. Perri and her husband Paul Costabile also share a 3 year old daughter named Carmella.
