The reality TV star, 40, filed for divorce from her rapper husband, 43 in February, reportedly agreeing to joint custody of their four children North, seven, Saint, five, Chicago, three, and one-year-old Psalm.
During her virtual interview on Watch What Happens Live, Chrissy gave an update on how Kim has been doing since the split.
The Lip Sync Battle star confessed she was ‘sad’ things hadn’t worked out between the pair, but praised her friend for fighting for their relationship.
Chrissy said: ‘Kim is doing okay. I know Kim gave her all for everything.
‘It’s honestly a shame that it didn’t work out because I saw them being a forever relationship, I really did, but I know she tried her best.’
She was also coy when it came to her husband John Legend’s friendship with the Touch The Sky rapper, revealing that it has been hard for the musicians to stay in touch as Kanye ‘goes off the grid’.
‘I will say I have definitely been in touch with Kim more than John has been in touch with Kanye,’ Chrissy revealed.
‘If anyone knows Kanye, it’s that he goes off the grid and it’s hard to ever contact him.’
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star is said to be ‘happier’ as she goes through a ‘calm’ divorce from Kanye.
The couple have been married for six years (Picture: Getty)‘Kim and Kanye are getting along,’ a source told People. ‘They have both stayed true to their commitment to make the best situation for the kids.
‘Kim is very happy that they have managed to keep things calm. She thinks Kanye is a good dad.
‘She wants him to be able to spend as much time with the kids as he wants.’
‘For every week that goes by since she filed for divorce, Kim seems happier,’ they added. ‘She knows that filing for divorce was the right decision. The kids are doing as good as she could hope.’
In legal papers obtained by PA, irreconcilable differences were cited as the reason for the split but neither Kim or Kanye have spoken publicly over the details.
The former couple, who had been dubbed Kimye by the public and media, got hitched in a lavish ceremony in Italy in 2014, with scenes from their big day playing out on Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
