Kyle Kuzma has hilarious recollection of Orlando bubble

The Los Angeles Lakers pulled off a win over the Orlando Magic on Monday, 114-103. Anthony Davis had his best game back since returning from injury and as he discussed LA’s winning effort in his post-game interview, AD could not help but reveal a hilarious text message from Kyle Kuzma prior to the contest.

The Lakers were back in Orlando on Monday and Kuz shared with the group how he had flashbacks from last season’s Disney World bubble. Kuzma caught win of his teammates’ post-game comments and he quickly shed more light on Davis’ earlier statement:

Truu I saw animal kingdom out my eye and got a random twitch #Ptsd 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 https://t.co/uVbFLM4ubO

They’re laughing about it now, but we can only imagine how stressful it was for them to be quarantined inside the bubble for months on end. The Lakers eventually shut out all the noise to bag the championship, but it is clear that the bubble experience left its mark on the entire squad — and for everyone else who was involved in that unprecedented circumstance.
The Lakers scored a much-needed win on Monday against a struggling Orlando side. The champs were coming off three straight defeats prior to this one so it was certainly a good way for them to open the week.
Davis saw his limit increased to 31 minutes in this one as he finished with 18 points on 8-of-15 shooting, to go along with eight rebounds, three assists, and two blocks. LA gets the Washington Wizards on Wednesday followed by a matchup against the Sacramento Kings on Friday. They close out their four-game week with a bout against the Toronto Raptors on Sunday.
