Bulls Knicks prediction odds pick

[ad_1]

The Chicago Bulls will head to The Big Apple to take on the New York Knicks on Wednesday night. It’s time to continue our NBA odds series and make a Bulls-Knicks prediction and pick.

Chicago enters this matchup having won four of its last six games despite not having Zach LaVine. New York has been red-hot of late, winning nine of 10, though a nine-game winning streak was just snapped by the Phoenix Suns. The Knicks are looking to continue their climb in the East, while Chicago is one game out of play-in contention right now. Which ascending Eastern Conference club will have the edge on Wednesday?
Here’s how sportsbooks have set the Bulls-Knicks odds.
NBA Odds: Bulls-Knicks Odds
Chicago Bulls +4 (-110)
New York Knicks -4 (-110)
Over 208.5 Points (-115)
Under 208.5 Points (-105)
Why The Bulls Could Cover The Spread
The Bulls are fighting for their lives. They lost hold of the 10th seed during a recent six-game losing streak, but have rebounded quite well despite losing LaVine for an extended period of time. Their most recent win came against a Miami Heat club that is eager to climb the standings as well.
Nikola Vucevic has led the way for his new club down the stretch. He delivered a double-double with 24 points and 11 rebounds in the recent win against the Heat. Daniel Theis was just as impressive, registering a double-double as well. Four other Bulls delivered double-figure performances in the well-rounded win. Chicago is looking up at the Washington Wizards and will have to keep winning in order to secure a play-in spot. The Bulls are 4-2 ATS in their last six and will look to rewrite their recent woes against the Knicks.
Why The Knicks Could Cover The Spread
The Knicks’ impressive winning streak finally came to an end on Monday night against the Phoenix Suns. Despite the loss, the Knicks have still been one of the hottest teams in basketball in the month of April. New York has found so much success this year with a well-rounded group that plays hard on the defensive end of the floor, with former Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau directing it all. The Suns did expose the fact that it is hard for any team to defend a group that is loaded with top-end talent.
Meanwhile, Julius Randle and RJ Barrett have been so good for the Knicks on the offensive end of the floor this season. Randle’s ascendance has been impressive and gives him a good shot to win Most Improved Player. Barrett has had a terrific sophomore season and will finally get his first taste of postseason basketball in his second season. The duo could certainly use a bit more star power to take another step next season, though. This season, they will continue to lean on role players like former Bull Derrick Rose and Reggie Bullock to provide an added boost. The Knicks will look to build on an impressive home record of 20-11-1 ATS this season.
Final Bulls-Knicks Prediction & Pick
When will people finally realize that this Knicks team is for real? Their consistent success on the defensive end of the floor has catapulted the Knicks to a top-four seed in the East. The offense has ascended of late and now enters a matchup against a mediocre Bulls defense. Without Zach LaVine, Chicago will have a lot of trouble creating offense against the stingiest team in the league. The line movement has created more value for New York and we should hop on before the market corrects itself prior to tipoff.
FINAL PICK: New York Knicks -4 (-110)
