Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry literally shot the lights out versus the New Orleans Pelicans. In a play where Curry was about to shoot a three pointer, the lights suddenly flickered and turned off.
Maybe this was part of the game plan for the Pelicans, as it eventually did work as they defeated the Warriors on Tuesday. Jokes aside, Curry did admit that it became rough for the Warriors after the shot.

In Curry’s defense, this three pointer (if counted) would have been big for the Warriors, who would have extended their lead to nine points late into the third quarter. They ended up losing to the Pelicans by five points. The Baby Assassin finished the game with 37 points in 37 minutes as he continues to will his team to at least make it to the play-in tournament this season. The Warriors are tied with the Memphis Grizzlies for the eighth seed in the competitive Western Conference.

The offense of the Warriors has been dependent on Curry throughout the season, especially with Klay Thompson sidelined to injury. The two-time MVP is having one of, if not his best regular season performance in his career. He’s notched multiple records this season, including passing Wilt Chamberlain as the number one scorer in Warriors history.
The up-and-down Warriors need to win their next couple of games to at least have a comfortable spot for the play-in tournament. Luckily for Curry and company, they’ll be going up against the Oklahoma City Thunder twice in the next coming days followed by the Utah Jazz, who they defeated in February.
