The Golden State Warriors clinched the 8 seed in the Western Conference after another huge performance from Stephen Curry. After the game, Steph put on the headset and was mid-interview when he got dumped with water, causing yet another postgame fail.

After that, the Warriors star couldn’t hear much for a while.

It was a well-deserved celebration for the Warriors’ star point guard. Curry was once again unbelievable, notching his second career scoring title in the first quarter. He would go on to finish the game with 46 points, nine assists and seven boards as the Warriors secured the 8 seed and await their opponent for the play-in tournament.
After an up-and-down season for Golden State, their fate, as far as seeding is concerned, is set in stone. With some key injuries throughout the year, head coach Steve Kerr has made it work with the roster given and they are peaking at the perfect time.
The Warriors finished the regular season with six straight wins and eight of their last nine, with the lone loss being a 108-103 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans. Now, they must sit back and wait. Will they face the Los Angeles Lakers and LeBron James? Or will they face the Portland Trail Blazers and Damian Lillard?
Either way, the interview reminds everybody of the struggles of the COVID-19 period, and hopefully soon face-to-face interviews and interactions can once again become the norm in the sports world.
