While at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards earlier today, in Los Angeles, Gabrielle Union opened up about the small controversy over her 2 year old daughter, Kaavia’s brand new Valentino handbag that she just got her not too long ago. The actress chatted with ET while in attendance at the awards show and set the record straight when it comes to the luxurious item. Naturally, some people were not impressed and actually criticized Union for buying her child such an expensive item at such a young age! However, it turns out that it was all a misunderstanding and that the truth makes a lot more sense – the mini bag was a gift from the designer brand! So for everybody who thought that I bought my child a $3,000 plus bag when she cannot poop in the potty on her own – um, no. She has been literally sleeping with it,’ the mom told the news outlet. The actress was a presenter at the awards show and she looked stunning in an embellished white Prada dress. And sure enough, her daughter, who seems to be very interested in fashion already, approved of the beautiful red carpet look! ‘She thought that I looked really pretty. She was like, ‘white dress.’ And I was like, [Is it] ‘good?’ And she was like, ‘You look very pretty, Mom. It felt really good to get out of the house. There were a couple of tears from Kaav at the door. She was like, ‘Have fun, Mom,’ Union shared during the interview with ET on the Red Carpet.
