Luka Doncic has dropped four 40-point games on the Los Angeles Clippers throughout his young playoff career. The Dallas Mavericks franchise player got a taste of his own medicine in Game 6.

Kawhi Leonard erupted for 45 points, trumping the Mavs star’ relatively pedestrian 29-point total for the evening. Doncic had a few choice words to summarize what went down in Game 6, per Dallas News’ Callie Caplan and Bleacher Report.

Leonard was relentless all night against the Mavs. He didn’t let up at all during the final minutes of the game, either. As the Clippers were leading by two with 3:04 left on the clock, Kawhi put the team on his back to score eight straight points in a little over a minute of on-court action. His last three-pointer, which gave him his 45th point, put the Clippers up by eight with under two minutes left to play.
Kawhi Leonard was a model of efficiency against the Mavs in Game 6. His 45 points came on just 25 shots, making 18 of them. He was also perfect from the free throw line and made 5-of-9 from downtown. Leonard even made history, becoming just the fifth player to reach that level of efficiency in a road playoff game since 1963.

The Mavs need to have a short memory and erase what Kawhi Leonard did to them in Game 6 as they head towards a do-or-die Game 7 in Los Angeles.
