Phoenix Suns star Chris Paul continues to make NBA history even at age 36.
On Monday in Game 1 of their second-round series with the Denver Nuggets, Paul didn’t break an assist record. Instead, he became the first player aged 36 or older to record a 20/5/10 stat line in 56 years. Stat Muse highlighted the awesome milestone, noting that no one has ever done it since 1965. Not even LeBron James or Michael Jordan was able to achieve such feat, which speaks volumes on the massive impact of CP3 despite his age.

Against the Nuggets, Chris Paul finished with 21 points, six rebounds and a game-high 11 assists. While the game was close in the opening half, the Suns pulled away for good in the third quarter and never looked back as they took the 122-105 victory and the 1-0 lead.
Paul is still in search for his first title, but he has certainly raised hopes he can finally achieve that with the Suns. Not only is Devin Booker playing sensational for Phoenix, but Deandre Ayton and Mikal Bridges have also both stepped up and are playing their roles to the perfection.
Under the leadership of Paul, Phoenix looks like primed for title contention.
Of course, there is still a long way to go before Paul and the Suns can even think of the Larry O’Brien trophy. However, fans got to be optimistic and hyped with the way the team has been performing so far.
