The Los Angeles Clippers find themselves in a familiar spot being down in a playoff series but it being far from over. It was LA who came back from a 2-0 deficit in the first round of the 2021 NBA Playoffs against the Dallas Mavericks. Now they’re trying to do the same against the Utah Jazz.
Kawhi Leonard has anchored the team, as expected during this postseason run. In the 4th quarter of Clippers wins during the playoffs, Leonard has been other worldly good. As a result, his performances in the final frame of LA wins have provided this insane stat.
Kawhi Leonard is still perfect in 4th quarters in Clippers wins this playoffs.

He literally hasn’t missed. To put this in context, the Clippers have won five playoff games so far. So that’s five games without a miss in the 4th quarter for the former Finals MVP.
Now one might assume that in losses, Leonard has been awful for the Clippers in the 4th quarter. That isn’t the case. In fact, Leonard has still been good in those situations.
In five playoff losses, Leonard has scored 36 points in 46 minutes of play. He’s shot 9-21 from the field and 11-13 from the free-throw line in those games for the Clippers.
Paul George has been more of a sidekick than a co-star for Leonard this postseason. If the Clippers want to comeback against the Jazz (down 2-1 now), Leonard won’t have to be flawless in the 4th quarter, but he’ll have to be pretty close to it against a really stout Utah lineup.
The Suns await the winner in the Western Conference Finals. Leonard hopes he can keep the perfection going and carry the Clippers to three more wins against the Jazz.
