Scottie Pippen was in the news on Thursday after an interview with GQ and in the process, he spoke on the difference between Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant and Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James. Pippen acknowledged the difference between the two stars, and his comments are, well, interesting.

Um, what? Pippen’s entire interview with GQ was hot take after hot take. Durant, as usual, must have seen this pop up on his timeline, and the Nets star responded in epic fashion, sending a haymaker towards Pippen on Twitter.
Didn’t the great Scottie pippen refuse to go in the game for the last second shot because he was in his feelings his coach drew up the play for a better shooter??

Shots fired from Durant, who ripped Pippen apart after seeing the comments.
The Nets took the Milwaukee Bucks to Game 7, and to overtime, but ultimately came up short despite a heroic effort from Durant– without Kyrie Irving, too.
While the Nets season ended earlier than expected, it is hard to place any blame on Durant. With no Irving and a limited James Harden, Durant put the Nets on his back and limped to the finish line, but Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks were too much to overcome.
It will be something to watch if Pippen responds to Durant’s comments or just leave them be, and the comments about LeBron James are also interesting in their own right.
