Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetotokounmpo was dumbfounded after watching Khris Middleton erupt to lead their team to an impressive road win against the Atlanta Hawks. The two-time MVP was nothing short of impressed after Middleton took over in the fourth quarter and basically put the entire franchise on his shoulders with a 20-point explosion in the last quarter en route to a huge 113-102 win in Game 3.

“Greatness,” Antetokounmpo summed up what he saw in Middleton on Sunday (via NBA TV). “What I saw today was unbelievable. It was freaking unbelievable.”

To echo the Bucks superstar, Middleton was indeed unbelievable on Sunday. The swingman dropped a game-high of 38 points on 15/26 shooting including knocking down six of his 12 triples. Middleton was locked in and put on his big boy pants in the final 12 minutes of the game where he scored 20 of the Bucks’ 30 points to help steal a road win for the Bucks. Giannis was more than happy to get the heck out and allow Middleton to get cooking.
“He turned the ball over like two times and after that, he was locked in was like ‘pass me the ball’ so we gave him the ball,” Giannis added. “There are moments that we know when to set screens for him, we know when he wants the ball and that was the moment. We were like ‘take us home, Khris’ and that’s what he did,”
After a rocky start to the series, Middleton seems to finally have found the touch as he helps Antetokounmpo spearhead the attack for Milwaukee against the pesky Atlanta Hawks defense. And, thanks to Middleton’s greatness in Game 3, the Bucks are closer and closer to the promised land.
