Trae Young isn’t done rubbing their series win in the face of the New York Knicks.

Just a few moments after beating the Knicks in Game 5 on the road on Wednesday, the Atlanta Hawks superstar took to Twitter to get one last parting shot. He only needed three words (and two emojis) to savagely roast the Knicks.

Well, OK, he included a video and a hashtag as well. But safe to say, he got his message across.
Young eliminated the Knicks in true villain fashion. He went all Kill Bill and unleashed a game-high 36 points, adding four rebounds, nine assists, and two steals. He once again fed off on the angry taunts of the Madison Square Garden crowd and silenced them in the end, once and for all.
The 22-year-old spitfire truly enjoyed battling the Knicks, who tried all physical tricks and mental warfare to try and stop him. But Young simply was too good, too quick, too hungry to be punked in his maiden stint in the NBA Playoffs. In fact, with his 36 points in Game 5, he joined Michael Jordan as the only players to drop three straight 30-points games at Madison Square Garden in the postseason. That’s a pretty cool milestone, right?
It’s a little jarring that Young has become arguably the newest villain in the NBA. But if that’s the tag he’s gonna get, for sure, he’ll run away with it. So far, he actually has.
Trae Young will be facing another impassioned crowd against the Philadelphia 76ers in the second round. And he looks ready to show some hate to the City of Brotherly Love.
