You’ve probably seen it by now. That side-splitting Charles Barkley impersonation by one Danny Rouhier has taken the internet by storm. If you somehow haven’t come across the clip, then do yourself a favor and watch it now here.
Shaquille O’Neal and the rest of the TNT crew absolutely loved the impersonation so they decided to bring in Rouhier to the show to do an impromptu interview on Charles Barkley as Charles Barkley. As expected, hilarity ensued:
That was awesome. That’s the best Charles Barkley impersonation we’ve ever come across and we’re just delighted that he had an opportunity to go face-to-face (at least virtually) with the real Chuck. Rouhier came in prepared for the interview too, as he delivered a series of hilarious questions for Barkley and the rest of the TNT crew.
Rouhier also did a Shaq impersonation but honestly, it wasn’t in the same league as his Chuck impression. Rouhier did offer up a bit of a contentious question for Shaq which resulted in the Hall of Fame big man firing back with a rather violent response. It was all in good fun, though.
We’re also glad that Kenny Smith asked Rouhier to speak in his normal voice at the end of the interview. His Charles Barkley impression is so good that we’ve been wondering how his real voice actually sounds like. So thanks for that, Kenny.
