Remedy announced that Control will be getting a spin-off multiplayer game and a sequel. Are you ready to dive back in?

Control, released in 2019, is a third-person action-adventure game where you control Jesse Faden, the new director of the Federal Bureau of Control. In the game, you are tasked to confront paranormal mysteries and find the truth surrounding the disappearance of your brother.
Dubbed as “Condor”, the multiplayer game is set in the same strange world as Control. It will be a 4-player co-op PvE experience, much like famous games Left 4 Dead and Payday. Remedy will be using its Northlight engine to develop Candor – the same engine which Remedy also used to develop Control.
That being said, there aren’t a lot of other details about the multiplayer spin-off. In a blog post by Game Director Mikael Kasurinen, he shared more about the game’s lore. The adventures of Jesse in the first game were just the beginning.
There is a vast world out there and Condor is their expression of that. Karurinen also shared a concept art of the game and thinks it tells pretty well what Condor is about. There isn’t much going on in the picture, but at least we get a glimpse of what the game would look like.
In a press release, Remedy says they’ve agreed to co-publish and develop Condor with 505 Games, who also worked with Remedy to publish Control in 2019. 505 Games is known for their games like Death Stranding’s PC port, as well as Ghostrunners.
In the same announcement, Remedy and 505 also gave us the very first hint at a Control sequel. They want to further expand the franchise with a bigger-budget Control game.
