The regional qualifiers for The International 10 are in full swing, and we’re now halfway through. This week, we’ll see which team will qualify in the TI10 NA and SEA qualifiers. Whoever wins will join SG E-Sports and Team Spirit in the list of qualified teams to TI10.
As for the TI10 North American Regional Qualifiers, two teams now stand on the precipice of victory. The top two teams left in the region – Undying with 400 DPC Points and 4 Zoomers with 200 DPC Points – met expectations. After defeating all the teams they went against during the playoffs, the two teams now face each other in the Upper Bracket Finals. The winner will be one step closer to qualifying for TI10.
The two teams have met each other multiple times over the past few months. During the BTS Pro Series 6: Americas, Undying lost to 4 Zoomers in the group stage and the Upper Bracket Finals, but Undying took the championship when they met again in the Grand Finals. During BTS Pro Series 5: Americas, the two teams started from different groups. Then, the reverse happened: Undying defeated 4 Zoomers in the upper bracket finals, only for 4 Zoomers to make a comeback in the Grand Finals.
Both 4 Zoomers and Undying have been dominant in NA on the road to TI10. Aside from Evil Geniuses and Quincy Crew, these two may just be the best teams in NA heading to this qualifier series. And now, they meet again in the upper bracket finals. Which team will win in the upper bracket finals, and will they be able to secure their place in the Grand Finals?
