Bauer’s allegations surfaced and a lengthy, descriptive report came about. Bauer and his agent Rachel Luba have repeatedly denied the allegations. As of Thursday, the Dodgers and manager Dave Roberts had planned on Bauer making his scheduled start on Sunday and received much backlash across the sports spectrum.
Now the MLB has placed him on leave, and the situation regarding Bauer will be one to monitor going forward.
