The Los Angeles Clippers are fresh off their playoff defeat at the hands of the Phoenix Suns in the Western Conference Finals. But it appears they’re already putting out feelers to improve their roster for next season.

Paul George and Kawhi Leonard already offer the Clippers a premium amount of star power. But could they add a third All-Star to the mix? That the idea LA is keeping tabs on as they’re one of the named suitors in a potential trade for Kevin Love.
Via Sam Amico from Hoops Wire:
Per sources, potential Love suitors include the Pelicans, 76ers, Heat, Clippers and Trail Blazers. It is believed Love is hoping to move on from the Cavs, but no trade requests have been made and sources say there’s no reason to believe a request is forthcoming.
The Cleveland Cavaliers forward has been out of competitive action for a couple of seasons now, but it’s hard to believe his star-level talent won’t be able to contribute on a well-run Clippers offense that’s all about spacing the floor.
There isn’t any trade buzz at the moment from the Cavs star, but given the trajectory of the rest of Cleveland’s roster, it seems unlikely Kevin Love sticks around for too long. While it remains unclear what exactly they’d be seeking in exchange for Love, the Clippers should at least get an offer in, or be first in line in the event of a buyout.
