Overwatch 2 PVP, new changes coming next week during live stream
Blizzard’s development team for Overwatch wants to share their excitement for Overwatch‘s five-year anniverasry. Hence, they will be spicing things up with an upcoming live stream next week. On top of all the things they’ll be talking about will be about the game’s upcoming sequel.
“In the past when we’ve talked about Overwatch 2,” says Keller, “we focused a lot on the co-op and story side of the game. But PvP is at the core of what makes Overwatch so special.”
This news will surely excite fans who have largely felt ambivalent towards Overwatch 2‘s current status. Keller speaks the truth. PvP has always been at the core of Overwatch, and both fans and pro players alike will benefit from news about the game’s PvP game mode. Fans who want to learn more can also attend an AMA session on the game’s official subreddit.
Blizzard currently has a lot in their hands in terms of the new game’s development. Jeff Kaplan’s departure has been seen by fans as a bad omen for the game’s future. However, Kaplan would like to assure fans that Overwatch 2 is in good hands. Truly, Keller has worked a long time with Kaplan, mostly as his associate director for the original. Keller has also worked for a long time in Blizzard, finding his roots designing levels for World of Warcraft.
