After watching the Los Angeles Clippers survive Game 3 and cut the Dallas Mavericks’ series lead 2-1, Serge Ibaka immediately took to Twitter to issue a bold prediction for his team.

Responding to a fan who have lost hope after the Clippers dug a 0-2 hole, Ibaka expressed his confidence that they will win the series despite still being behind the Mavs.

Do you believe me now? And will you believe now I’m telling you we will also win the series? https://t.co/T9KRqZTSUb

The Clippers certainly played with more urgency in Game 3, knowing that falling to a 3-0 hole would effectively remove all their chances of coming back from the series. Kawhi Leonard stepped up big time for LA, finishing with 36 points, eight rebounds and three assists. Paul George was also sensational, chipping in 29 points to help the team erase a massive lead early in the first quarter and take full control of the contest.
Serge Ibaka was ruled out of the game due to a lingering back issue, but there are expectations he’ll be ready on Sunday for the must-win Game 4 for the Clippers.
For what it’s worth, while the Clippers got a morale-boosting win, they still can’t be too overconfident against the Mavs. After all, they still haven’t found a solution to stop Luka Doncic offensively, as the young Slovenian continues to torch the  LA team.
Doncic finished with 44 points on Friday against the Clippers, and had it not been for a poor performance from Kristaps Porzingis, the Clippers could have been in dangerous waters now. Simply put, Ibaka and LA need to keep their eye on the prize and celebrate only after they got the job done.
