Ah, Nick Young. The modern-day nonconformist. And oh, who happens to celebrate his birthday on June 1. Although he might not believe in that too. But Young has always been a great source of NBA talk and his latest hipster take is yet another example.
The former NBA champion announced his NBA Finals prediction on Twitter and it was something only Swaggy P could make: The Los Angeles Clippers versus the Milwaukee Bucks.

While it’s not totally outlandish, not many have shared the same forecast with Young. Maybe Young’s crystal ball has other mystic powers and gluten-free elements. Or maybe he really just wants to be different and bet on the underdog odds. Whatever it may be, the Clippers and the Bucks would definitely agree with Young.
According to ESPN’s Basketball Power Index, the Bucks have an 11.9 percent chance of winning the title, while the Clippers are at 3.5 percent.
The Clippers have regained control after tying their series against the Dallas Mavericks. The Bucks, meanwhile, easily disposed of the Miami Heat, using a broom to avenge their second round defeat in last year’s NBA Playoffs.
Young is no stranger to high-stake games, having helped the Golden State Warriors win the championship in the 2016-17 season. So while he has made really strange pronouncements in the past, his NBA Finals prediction definitely has merit. After all, it’s hard to bet against Kawhi Leonard and Giannis Antetokounmpo, two of the best two-way players in the NBA.
We never know, maybe in the end, Nick Young will actually have the last laugh. While eating avocado toast.
